CCC will be participating in CANSEC 2017 from May 31 to June 1, 2017 at the EY Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.

Hosted annually by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), CANSEC regularly draws over 11,000 delegates, 360 exhibiting companies, and 30 international delegations and embassies yearly. The two-day event will feature Canada’s leading defence and security companies. The showcase targets a wide audience of customers that include government agencies and departments with an interest in the defence sector. CANSEC also hosts meal events featuring senior government and Ministerial-level speakers, offering a unique opportunity for participants to network with colleagues and clients.

Government of Canada Pavilion – Booth #1021  

A number of Government of Canada departments are participating in CANSEC 2017 including representatives from:

  • CCC;
  • Global Affairs Canada (GAC);
  • Department of National Defence (DND);
  • Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC);
  • Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED);
  • Concierge – Government of Canada; 
  • Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). 
In order to help delegates easily navigate the services available to them, the Government of Canada Pavilion is divided into three distinct themes: Research and Development in Canada, Selling to Canada and Exporting from Canada.

Research and Development: offers services to help Canadian defence and security companies innovate and accelerate growth through research and development. Exhibitors include Concierge – Government of Canada, DRDC, and ISED – Industrial Technologies Office.

Selling to Canada: offers services to support defence procurement for Canada. Exhibitors include DND – Industrial and International Programs, ISED – Industrial and Technological Benefits, PWGSC – Industrial Security Sector, and PWGSC – Office of Small and Medium Enterprises.

Exporting from Canada: offers services to help Canadian companies sell to international buyers. Exhibitors include GAC – Trade Commissioner Service, CCC and PWGSC – GCSurplus.
