Canadian Forum on U.S. Export & Re-Export Compliance

American Conference Institute/The Canadian Institute's inaugural Forum on "U.S. Export & Re-Export Compliance for Canadian Operations" will bring together leading government, aerospace, defence, technology, security and legal experts from the U.S. and Canada. CCC's Annual Report for 2010-11 has been tabled in Parliament

We are pleased to announce that the Canadian Commercial Corporation's Annual Report for 2010-11 has been tabled in Parliament. The Report outlines the Corporation's three-pillar framework of strategic objectives, and provides a snapshot of the activities and initiatives undertaken by CCC in 2010-11 to: Ensure Smart Growth in Canadian Exports; Contribute to Public Policy; and to Achieve Innovation and Operational Excellence.

DEFSEC Atlantic 2011

CANSEC 2011
Ottawa, June 1-2, 2011

CANSEC 2011 will feature product presentations and capability displays by Canada's leading edge defence and security companies. This showcase targets Government agencies and departments with an interest in security, public safety, risk mitigation, threat response and emergency planning. Hosted by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), CANSEC provides participants the opportunity to network with over 9,000 industry suppliers and government customers in a unique industry environment.

This year, CCC, along with its international trade portfolio partner, EDC, will host an exhibit and trailer at CANSEC. Paris International Air Show
Le Bourget - June 20-26, 2011

The International Paris Air Show - Le Bourget has been the premier and largest worldwide event dedicated to the aviation and space industry for a century. Over the years, it has become one of the most recognized and attended aerospace events and is an excellent networking opportunity for companies and organizations selling into defence and civilian aerospace sector.

CCC will join some 2,000 exhibitors, 138,000 trade visitors, 3,000 journalists and 200 official delegations at this essential event for aviation and space industry professionals. Greening CCC Operations Policy
Representing both the Government of Canada and Canadian exporters means that CCC carefully considers all the implications of its business activities at home and abroad. CCC believes that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is essential to building a sustainable global economy in which Canadian companies can play a significant role. CCC is committed to instilling CSR in all of its business practices and as a key component of the Corporation's CSR Framework, the "Greening CCC Operations Policy" was approved on March 14, 2011. This policy will guide staff in promoting and supporting responsible activities that are respectful of the environment.
