Overview

In order to increase trade, CCC works in areas where there is a clear role for government, responding to the need for additional contracting capacity in emerging and developing country markets. Therefore, CCC helps foreign governments benefit from Canadian export capabilities through the negotiation and execution of government-to-government contracts.

Contributing to Canada’s international agenda

CCC works in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT), Export Development Canada (EDC), the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) as part of a whole-of-government approach to provide the best possible solutions for foreign government buyers and Canadian exporters.

Supporting Canadian commitments for international assistance

CCC has a long history of successful projects in emerging and developing country markets and works with CIDA and DFAIT to help Canadian exporters deliver Canada’s international aid.

Supporting Canadian exporters

The Corporation uses its unique relationships and contracting expertise to support Canadian exporters in emerging and developing country markets through the negotiation of government-to-government contracts.
