The Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is Canada’s Government to Government Contracting Agency and U.S. DoD’s Canadian Prime Contractor for acquisitions from Canada. We support foreign ministries in their defence and nation security procurement needs and Canadian companies in their pursuits of business with foreign governments.
Our International Prime Contractor (IPC) program allows government buyers to facilitate faster procurements, satisfy urgent and compelling needs, take advantage of a flexible contracting approach, reduce procurement contract risk, and improve project outcomes. For Canadian companies, IPC provides opportunities to engage high-level government buyers, gain a competitive advantage through our Government of Canada guarantee and accelerate the selling process. In 2020-2021, we signed $1.35 billion in new exports of which 30 percent were through our IPC program.
Our U.S. DoD Prime Contractor is a free program offered by the Government of Canada and supported by the U.S. that is designed to simplify the process for Canadian businesses to sell their products and solutions to the U.S. Department of Defence. For Canadian businesses we help interpret bid documents, endorse your proposal, review pricing, advocate for your and reduce payment risk. For U.S. DoD buyers, buying from CCC broadens your supply of vetted solutions, ensures that you are paying a fair and reasonable price and provides you free contract and finance administration support. We signed $922million in contracts through the U.S. DoD Prime Contractor program in 2020-2021.
