CCC Releases New Buyers’ Manual for Acquisitions from Canada

CCC is pleased to announce the release of a new CCC Buyers’ Manual that will assist governments around the world with their next defence and security acquisition from Canada. As the defence and security export sales organization of the Government of Canada, CCC provides simplified access to Canada’s world-class defence and security technologies and expertise through government to government contracting. “I am pleased to announce the release of CCC Buyers’ Manual at IDEX 2015. Canada’s defence and security sector is recognized worldwide for the highly specialized products and services it develops allowing it to compete and win amongst the best in the world,” said Mr. Martin Zablocki, President and CEO of CCC. “Last year, CCC was active in 57 countries with 183 companies proving there is a clear demand for Canadian products and services. This new manual will make working with CCC even more straightforward.” The CCC Buyers’ Manual includes important information regarding the products and services that can be exported from Canada, benefits of government to government contracting, and the five key steps to buying from Canada through CCC. The manual also outlines CCC’s commitment to ethical business practices. The Canadian defence and security industrial base consists of over 2,000 firms. Canadian defence and security firms are best known for such products as armoured vehicles, special mission aircraft, and VIP helicopters and for providing leading solutions including protecting the soldier, C4ISR, training systems, cyber security and shelters.
