Michel Chartrand

Vice-President, Legal Services, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary

Michel Chartrand was appointed CCC’s Vice-President, Legal Services, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary in February 2022. Mr. Chartrand brings over 20 years of legal work experience, most notably in international commercial contracts, risk management, and dispute settlement. Mr. Chartrand joined CCC in 2000 as Legal Counsel and has a deep knowledge of aerospace, defence and security sectors and their international sales contracts, including the interpretation of the U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defence FAR Supplement (DFARS) in support of CCC contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense.

Mr. Chartrand practices in both French and English, and has been a member of the Law Society of Ontario since 1999. He holds degrees in Civil Law and Common Law from the University of Ottawa, having completed his final year of common law studies at the National University of Singapore.
