Mylène Tassy

After more than 20 years in the Aerospace industry Mylène has successfully transitioned to the automotive industry. As an experienced executive, Mylène’s current focus is with Nova Bus of the Volvo group, responsible for the Sales, Bids and proposals, Product planning, market strategy, marketing teams and recently a shared responsibilities for the program management teams.

Prior to joining Nova Bus of the Volvo Group, Mylène had senior positions in the Aerospace industry both in North America and Europe, honing her skills in commercial growth strategies, customer and contract management, product portfolio, strategic business plans, aftermarket support, production capacity serving civil & military markets.

Giving back to her community has also been an integral part of Mylène’s journey since her teenage years, her voluntary implication span from working with disadvantaged youths, helping the elderly, supporting charitable organizations in Haiti, mentoring students.

Mylène is an engineer with two engineering degrees from McGill University: Environmental and agricultural engineering and mechanical engineering with a minor in management. She also has an MBA from the University of Cumbria in the United Kingdom.

Mylène is a member of the Order of Engineer of Quebec, is the recipient of 2020 Excellence Quebec, and a member of several boards. She also has 3 grown children and has been married to Daniel her McGill university classmate for 30 years.

Mylène was appointed to CCC’s Board of Directors on March 22, 2023.
