Ottawa, CANADA – Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is pleased to announce that CCC’s Director Suzanne Wilkinson will speak at WEST 2023 about how U.S. DoD buyers can procure solutions from Canada.
WEST, now in its 33rd year, is a premier naval conference and exposition that connects industry leaders to military officials of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and the Coast Guard. Ms. Wilkinson is responsible for bringing Canadian solutions to U.S. Department of Defense (U.S. DoD) challenges as part of CCC’s U.S. DoD Prime Contractor, a free service funded by the Government of Canada and supported by the U.S. Government.
Defence procurement cooperation is a key element of Canada-US relations. The U.S. DoD relies on Canadian suppliers for a vast array of goods and services — everything from technologies and transportation to manufacturing and R&D. As the official foreign military sales channel for Canadian companies to U.S. DoD., CCC acts as the prime contractor for U.S. DoD procurements from Canada worth more than USD $250,000.
Every year the list of solutions that Canada provides to the U.S. military grows. In the 2021-2022 fiscal year, CCC helped Canadian businesses sell $868 million dollars in goods and services to the U.S. DoD.
Attend Suzanne Wilkinson’s presentation at WEST on Thursday, February 16, 2023: 10:10 AM – 10:30 AM, Innovation Theater – Exhibit Floor, 2000 Aisle.
