Canada signs deal to refurbish CANDU reactor at Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant in Romania

The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, today announced the signing, at the World Nuclear Exhibition, in Paris, of a 3-way contract between the Canadian Commercial Corporation, Societatea Națională Nuclearelectrica SA and AtkinsRéalis to support the work to extend the life of the Unit 1 CANDU reactor at the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant, in Romania.
CCC releases record results for 2022–2023

Candu Energy Inc., an AtkinsRéalis company [SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.] (TSX: ATRL) and the Canadian Commercial Corporation (“CCC”), a federal Crown corporation, have received an award letter from Nuclearelectrica S.A. (SNN) to provide engineering, technology and procurement of tooling and reactor components in support of the life extension of SNN’s Unit 1 CANDU® reactor at the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant in Romania. Valued at approximately $750 million, the contract will build on a series of earlier pre-project contracts for AtkinsRéalis in Romania.
CCC, Schaeffler Canada to supply bearings to U.S. DLA Aviation

CCC is pleased to announce that it was awarded an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the United States Department of Defense (U.S. DoD), valued at up to USD $19 million dollars, to provide rubber molded gloves manufactured by AirBoss Defense Group (ADG) that protect military personnel against chemical warfare agents. The gloves will be supplied to the U.S Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), which is responsible for managing the global defense supply chain of the five military services of the United States.
